Creating hope for children, adults and families. #LiftingTheLid

We’ve created some activities for children and young people to enjoy to get them involved in #SockittoStigma! They’re designed to get conversations going and really allow people to think, learn and begin to understand more about mental illness.

Simply download, print and get creative!

Don’t forget to share your creations with us by tagging us on social media – @Shaw_Mind on Twitter and Instagram, and @shawmindfoundation on Facebook.

Stigma Buster

A simple, fun thing to make to help children and young people engage in conversations and activities around mental health.

If you’re feeling particularly creative, why not design one yourself?

Sock it bunting

Design your own socks and create a wonderfully colourful bunting to hang in your school or work environment, and show your support for creating positive conversations around mental illness.

Happy Cube

Design and create a simple cube where you can store positive affirmations. Whenever you are feeling down, simply lift the lid on your box and remind yourself of all the good things!

A simple, brain exercising wordsearch! Can you find all the mental health words and phrases?

Any size donation, no matter how small, will make a difference to those children, adults and families going through the distress caused by mental health issues.
