How can you get involved?

Wear bright socks!
Whether it’s a cake sale, garage sale or a karaoke night, whatever you’re doing to raise money, make sure you do it in style and wear your brightest socks so that everyone can see your support for #SockittoStigma!

You can also download any of our free posters to help advertise your fundraiser!

Get creative
Want to create a display in support of open conversations about mental illness? Why not download our Sock It template, design your own socks and create your own Sock It bunting to hang in your classroom, home or workplace environment? We also have other activities that you can use to get involved with our campaign, such as fortune tellers and a “Happy Cube” that you can decorate and store lots of positive thoughts.

Do a sponsored walk wearing your bright socks!
Sponsored walks are a great way to raise money and are also good social events! Why not arrange a sponsored walk, or a fun run, in your local area? You can wear jazzy socks to really stand out! Download a sponsorship form and posters for free!

Don’t forget to share your fun!
We’d love to see what you’re getting up to on this day so don’t forget to tag us in pictures of your activities, using the #SockItToStigma hashtag, on social media (@Shaw_Mind on Twitter and Instagram, and @shawmindfoundation on Facebook) or you can email them to us – don’t forget to let us know who you are and what you’re doing!
