Ian Barr

ianbIan is an experienced Organisational Psychologist and trainer within the areas of Occupational Wellbeing and Workplace Psychosocial Risk.

Previously employed as the Wellbeing Advisor for Airbus Operations Ltd, Ian was instrumental in the provision of workplace mental health support in a manufacturing environment in partnership with a public sector organisation. He has also been an accredited Mental Health First Aid Trainer since 2008 providing both MHFA two day courses and Mental Health Awareness half day courses. Ian is also a Master Practitioner in Workplace Psychosocial Risk Management.

Ian is passionate regarding reducing stigma and discrimination surrounding mental ill health in the workplace.
Ian also works as a Non-Executive Director to an Independent Financial Advice company, and provides Wellbeing in Retirement seminars within this role.

Ian is an accredited Mental Health First Aid Trainer for Mental Health First Aid (England), CIC and an associate trainer for MIND.
