HealthUnlocked
The Shaw Mind Foundation is pleased to host an anonymous, online peer support group on HealthUnlocked – The “Mental Health Support” forum.
It is a safe space for people who wish to chat about their feelings and provide support for other individuals who are struggling as a result of mental illness.
There are currently over 21,000 users on our forum, so you are likely to find someone to speak to, connect with and contribute to positive conversations around mental health issues. The site is monitored by a team of nurses who are able to help make sure that users of the site are safe at all times. They will also offer advice and guidance when necessary.
You can check out some of the conversations happening by clicking on the “Our online community” box.
You can sign up here, and it’s absolutely free!
HealthUnlocked is a social network for health, connecting people with chronic conditions and other health needs. The network provides peer support, resources and local services for patients in primary care. Changing the way people find information, support and services, it transforms the way healthcare can be delivered.
