Children and young people’s mental health is at the heart of our foundation. We are working hard to provide schools, colleges and universities with mental health education and training so that all children and young people are equipped with knowledge and understanding of mental illness, and are able to speak out and seek help when they need it most.
Fundraising can be a great way to bring your school community together – students, teachers and parents – and not only will you raise vital funds for The Shaw Mind Foundation to continue helping to improve children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing, but it can also be loads of fun!
Money raised can go towards various projects, including providing your school with mental health training and education ahead of it being made compulsory in 2020!
There are many different ways for you to get involved and raise funds at school. Here’s a few ideas to get you started, but feel free to come up with your own too!
We want to help you make your event a success, so if you need a hand with anything you can get in touch with us to discuss your plans and let us know how we can help out.
